Christmas Eve

 

It was Christmas Eve and all my family is exited (especially my brother Ethan)!  My mum told me to calm down otherwise Santa would be too scared to visit my house. For tea we had a yummy Christmas dinner but didn’t like the Brussel sprouts (yuck). At eight o’clock I went to bed and I demanded that my mum went to bed the same time so that Santa would come but I didn’t have any luck. At eleven o’clock I heard a noise coming from down stairs. Santa had arrived. It was getting louder and louder …and then the noise stopped…

Breaking news…

A blusterous hurracane,  torrential rain, sustained winds of over 195mph and a storm surge of up to 30 feet that devastated coastal areas has hit many parts of the philippines and is sweeping away many of the homes that are still standing. People are loosing there lives every minute and they need our help fast. It first struck the Philippines on the eighths of november 2013 and has been going on for days. Life is at a stand still and with our help we can stop that. it is one of the most intense tropical storms to ever make landfall anywhere in the world.Over 11 million people need food, water and if you want to help go to       Urgent Philippines Appeal – dec.org.uk‎

The Disaster

I know that you are sruggling for food but we are trying to get as much food and water to you as possible. I am very sad that most of you have lost your homes . If you are out there  and you have no home don’t you worry there will be someone out there  getting you food and water and shelter. Hope you and your families will be safe forever  and no one will get in the way of that. Everyone in the UK is feeling very sorry for you. Be strong and work together with each other.

I was standing in the middle of the war and I heard the sound of the alarm and my friend called Ben was standing next to me. Then I heard the sound of a bomb landing next to me and Ben. It all happened in a blink of an eye, we both had no clue what had happened until the pain rushed up our bodies.

A far away body shape starts running towards me. At first I couldn’t figure out who it was but then I realized that it was Ben. He then dragged me to safety. I will always remember that day.
