The Eye of the Storm

I was in the newspaper, I was on TV. People never knew what happened, I didn’t either. All I know and everyone else knew was that I disappeared that day. I did find what I was looking for it wasn’t hard but I shouldn’t have tried I feel so stupid. (everyone thought I was stupid) I choose to do this I couldn’t have turned back not then not now because I was about to enter the Eye of the Storm…

The air was thick, but the clouds were fluffy they swirled round me like a path. This was a path to a world were nothing could survive (As it was only a one way flight that I realised too late to turn back). My machine is supposed to be able to fly through storms but I was about to learn a valuable lesson to test your inventions first, I was lucky it wasn’t hit by lightning that reminded me about a time where I was scared of lightning that made me miss home more.

It was getting nearer. Now was the time to go I gently found my glass bottle filled with green liquid.-My life was about to die away along with my stuff-I decided it might be dangerous to take my stuff with me so I through them away into the furnace it helped the furnace by heating it up I was about to walk out of the dusty, old room when I spotted some books that I didn’t need any more so I carefully picked them up and chucked them into the furnace it was now steaming so away I walked.

Once that crying wind with the punching lightning had disappeared my stuff had blown all over the place luckily the key was there hidden. I pressed my fingers against it and click the dragon was able to fly free I wish I could fly free just like him but I don’t have wings I don’t have anything anymore!

The Eye Of The Storm

As I marched into The Sparrow (that’s the name of my ship) I was confident that I would get through the green sparkling portal. I started her up and the engine made a grumbling sound which was quite peculiar! The red skies, the orange lighting and blue clouds seemed to go on forever. I wondered whether I would make it through the portal. Could I actually make it? I had always thought that if I was to go back I would be considered a cowered but if a carried on I would be considered a hero.

As I crept slowly into the dark, black and shadowy furnace room I could smell the thick smoke coming up my nostrils. I put all my steel in the furnace so that I could then drop my belongings down the green shining portal to another dimension. As I did this I felt like nothing mattered but this life changing journey!

While I was coming out the furnace room I stumbled upon a black rusting key. I tried it in all the locks on The Sparrow then I remembered that I locked my dragon up on the ship and I could free it now. So I found him, and tried the key in the padlock and he was now free! He spread his wings; he prepared to fly into the endless ocean of red clouds. Minute by minute, hour by hour I became closer to the green shimmering hole in the sky. I am never scared but this time I found myself chewing of my fingernails I’m so scared that my toes might even next!

The time has now come I said to myself. I was just about to sail into another dimension, now the lightning was lighter, the wind was windier, and the darkness was darker, when suddenly out of nowhere……

Eye of the Storm by Elias

Every step down the long narrow path brought me closer and closer to the journey ahead of me. Oh, I bet your wondering why I’m staring at that enormous green storm; I’m going to save my land. So I have to die for that. I know it sounds kind of weird but it’s true. Unexpectedly, my adorable dragon with her scaly skin reflecting on the storm came out of her cage. I pattered her head, she felt sombre.

The green smoky acid lead before me. One by one I reached for my precious belongings, in fact my only possessions. Magically, they dissolved into the green smoky acid. Acid that had saved them from my previous troublesome adventure. An adventure that I wish I could through away from my dull memory. Lastly, I reached for my shimmering silver box that glinted in my eyes. I hesitated but my instincts told me not to drop it into the burning light…

I stepped down the long narrow path clutching onto my great great grandfathers. I let go. The rain fell upon my goggle and it felt like a tear falling on my eye. Millions upon millions of emotions were floating around my head like an everlasting roller-coaster.

The storm came crashing into my ship. I was astonished, I survived the crash but I had to stay on track. I freed my dependable dragon so she can be safe. As time went by, I relaxed in my chair, and waited for the adventure to begin!

The Eye of the Storm by Marco

Eye of the Storm

AS I look through my telescope and I stared into the eye of the storm.  My dragon walked towards me so I patted him on the head. As I walked through the corridor to my map and I looked at the direction.

I ignited the fire and I though a green potion in it. I also threw a few books in to get more power, I found my chest and I dropped the chest from the sky. I steered into the eye of the storm with my own eyes. As I got deeper and deeper into the storm I hit worse and worse weather as I continued though my journey to reach the eye of the storm. As I got deeper into the storms fury, it also got harder and harder to control the ship. As my power cells started to run out. Then I the first thing I saw was a green light. Then as I steered at the flour I saw a key. So I decided to let my dragon free so he doesn’t die like I will. I looked at eye of the storm one last time. I tied the rope to the steering wheel so I don’t go in the wrong direction I put the ship on full power so there is no turning back and the gages where in the red and smock was flying everywhere and I went to sit in my chair waiting for what will happen next…
