Jazmin’s 100wc

The whistle blew; I was froze on the spot. My body wouldn’t move because of all the adrenaline pumping around my body. All around me I could see chaos erupting, as innocent people got shot down. Suddenly out of nowhere, there was a tremendous explosion. Large chunks of shrapnel came flying at me from every direction possible. I collapsed to the floor in agony. It was all to fast for me to take in. Remembering the reason I was here, I sucked up all the pain, got up and prayed with home in my heart for my family back home.

I am still perplexed on what happened yesterday. One minute I was under my blankets, planning my dream ice cream parlour and the next I was in a completely new place. Looking around, I could see bright strobe lights and queer looking machines moving around . Taking a few cautious steps forward, suddenly, it hit me. I was in an ice cream parlour! , I couldn’t believe the smell, ice cream glories in every flavour conceivable. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. Stunned into silence, I reached out and gently laid my hand on the nearest machine and a tingle of excitement leaped up my spine.

Look up, can you see?

The stunning sky above me.

My heart is filled with wonder and joy,

Just like every other girl and boy.

The peaceful birds gracefully flap past,

These long summer days are here at last!

Ice cream vans happily chime,

As I ‘m thinking of words that rhyme!

Mums and Dads have a free day,

So that they can also go out to play

Gleeful laughs of children soar,

And rattle through the air and floor.

The parks are packed with smiling faces,

Playing on swings and having races.

I wish that every day was like this,

It is just complete and utter bliss!

Silence loomed over Preston City Bank as two dark figures shuffled around inside. 5…4…3…2…1… BANG! The time bomb that the criminals had set blew up, tossing money out onto the road. Bits of shrapnel came flying at the villains as they ran as fast as they could, until they were out of sight. Chaos erupted as police cars emerged from around corners, deafening everyone within a 100 metre radius.

When the criminals ran away, they were holding a bin full of money from the bank, and they accidently dropped it and couldn’t go back. A woman came across it, but when she lifted the lid, the money had vanished…

I gradually near my hevean and spirits of the undead pass through me, and go the other direction, expressionless and dull. At last. I’ve been waiting for this day forever. I finally get to live life to the full. No one to tell me no and no one to tell me that I can’t. I have complete control. My life has only just begun. I have not lived properly yet. Now is the chance to accomplish all my dreams and conquer my fears. The light inside of me is growing brighter and brighter. Now is the chance… I can do it.

School-Uniform. It has been an issue for a long time. Now it’s time to sort it out. We’ve been going to schools in England to see what they had to say…

“I HATE school-uniform! It’s itchy, and uncomfortable. Plus, no one gets to show of their latest new outfit” Lucy Suttal (NLAS)

“Personally, I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with school-uniform. It isn’t that expensive and people don’t get bullied for not having the latest fashion” Cerys Howelds (NLAS)

Meetings have been held all over the country to find an answer. There had been a wide range of views expressed, both for uniform and against. What do you think?

There I was, at the biggest swimming pool in Europe. It was crowded with kids, splashing about and nagging their parents for a hot dog. The noise was deafening. Even all the adults were having a good time! All I could see was water, glimmering in the sunlight and blinding everyone with its magnificent turquoise glow. A multicoloured tornado passed my eyes as I noticed the water slides. Huge ones, small ones, twisty ones, straight ones, every conceivable sort. The atmosphere was great , because all around me people were laughing and enjoying themselves. It’s time to jump in and have some fun!

Today at 11:47am, a woolly gorilla escaped from The Grand Zoo. Whilst he was on the loose, he blindly knocked a little girl off her pink bicycle into a near bye bush. As chaos erupted throughout the town, no one laughed at the incident. On the streets, everyone was running into their houses, desperate to stay safe. Sirens from the police cars were deafening everyone within a fifty metre radius. At The Grand Zoo, there was a sea of interviewers trying to speak to the keeper. Microphones were being shoved into his face from every angle possible. Nothing could stop this crazy primate.
