Katy 100 Word Challenge

Once in a while everybody needs a shoulder to cry on.
Once In a while everybody needs someone to talk to.
Today is the day when we remember those who
fought and died at war.
Today is the day when we remember those who have
lost their loved ones.
Year after year crowds gather to show their respect.
Year after year service men and women serve
Our country with pride.
After tomorrow they won’t be forgotten.
After tomorrow they’ll still be in our hearts.
On the eleventh hour
Of the eleventh day
Of the eleventh month
We will remember them.

100 word challenge by Katy

One day a young man named Billy took his lazy husky on a walk. Billy loved taking his dog on walks with a gentle breeze blowing against his face, plus it was great for his health because he wasn’t the fittest of people.

When they got to the pond in the middle of the park Billy threw a stick as far as possible into the pond . Then there was a big splash, his dog dived into get it . Suddenly the dog came to a halt, he had got trapped in some weeds from underneath the water.

As I said billy loved taking his dog on a walk but he actually belly flopped into the pond just to save him because he absolutely adored his dog,and would never ever want to part with it. But was he too late? The dog started to go under. So Billy went under with his scruffy wellies sticking in the air.

Everyone on the edge of the pond was watching, nibbling their nails with fear wondering what was going to happen. After what seamed like for ever Billy came up with his dog in one hand and in the other a big hand of slimy weed!
